My Favorite Podcasts v1.

So I was listening to one of my new favorite podcasts this morning, and thought I should share all of my regular subscriptions with you guys! If you listen to podcasts, or really ingest any type of media at all, you know you listen to different shows depending on what type of mood you’re in.

1. But What’s Next with Michelle Reed

My latest favorite is called, “But What’s Next with Michelle Reed”. It’s like listening to a friend speak. If you’re anything like me, listening or reading anything provokes a lot of thought. I am very introspective so I am more inclined to analyze and reflect instead of relax and learn as I hear information. You’ll enjoy Michelle’s podcast when you want something lighter to bounce around with. It’s very casual in that she just talks about what is going on in her life. It’s like a conversation with a friend, and not something I feel I need my journal for. Michelle is very intelligent and a thoughtful communicator. You can tell she is not showing off, or even conscious of her own eloquence—it’s very relaxing and puts me at ease while still engaging my mind. This is a podcast I recommend for those with active minds seeking some form of rest, novelty, and connection.

Before we reach our 20s, our lives are set out before us. After graduating from college or entering adulthood, many of us are left wondering... what's next? In this podcast, lifestyle-vlogger Michelle Reed shares her own heart and advice from other guests on all things navigating your 20's, from marriage, faith, health, finances, friendships & more. Stay tuned for weekly chatty episodes posted every Monday!

2. For Us with Josh & Sav

Another podcast I find myself listening to every now and then is the For Us Podcast by Josh & Sav. Josh and Sav are youtubers, so I found them there first. Josh and Sav are the only vloggers I watch consistently now a days. It’s crazy because I think I found them when they were engaged and have just followed them throughout these past 3 years of marriage. I listen to their podcast as a secondary platform to engage with them. Most of the time it’s just funny, nothing serious but they recently did do an episode titled, The Awful Truth About Marriage. They shared their good, bad, and ugly and it was full of truth and giggles. If anything, I recommend their YouTube channel if you’re looking for some fun and authentic content. I respect them because they emphasize the value of re-sets and mental breaks throughout their creative journey. Josh is a videographer and Savannah is a professional dancer, so the quality and creativity of their content is always evolving. It’s healthy, they’re healthy, and I respect it.

Everything that we share on this podcast is and has been a teachable moment FOR US throughout life. Our faith, marriage & social media are wrapped into one. How do we balance the wisdom we’ve heard, lessons we’ve learned, things we’ve seen, experiences we’ve had? Our hope is that you would have an encounter while you’re here & walk away with a piece of encouragement.

For Us with Josh & Sav

3. She by Jordan Lee Dooley

The last podcast I’ll share in this post is She by Jordan Lee Dooley. Jordan’s podcast is what I reference for expert advice. In most of her episodes she invites special guests to teach us how to practically steward our resources well. This looks like our physical resource, with episodes on adrenal fatigue and minerals, to our financial resources with episodes addressing the mindset behind debt. SHE empowers me to take bigger steps. I listen to SHE when I need to feel productive or want to make some forward moving decisions in my life. Dooley helps me make optimal choices by evaluating my physical, metal, and professional goals.

“Pull up a seat and get ready to step into the woman you’re about to become. Join alongside National Bestselling Author, Jordan Lee Dooley, for this workshop-style podcast uniquely designed to help working women (like you!) steward your home, health, and work well – whatever your work looks like in this season.

Each week, you’ll walk away with implementable steps to improve your everyday life as an ambitious woman. From cultivating a home to managing money well, women’s health to clean living, time management to goal setting, we cover it.

Rooted in faith, inspired by Proverbs 31, and jam-packed with practical takeaways, each episode will inspire and equip you to pursue your dreams while prioritizing the most important things, or as J likes to say, “own your everyday.”

Come invited, leave ignited.”
